The fifth international conference of the Military Welfare History Network will take place at the Babeș-Bolyai University in the city of Cluj-Napoca in Romania, on 18-20 June 2026 and has been organised around the theme of ‘Civil Society, Civic Engagement and Its Impact on Military Welfare’. This event is open to members and non-members of the Network and there will be no charge for attendance. The deadline for submissions is 14 March 2026 and all submissions and inquiries can be sent to the organisers at militarywelfarehistory@gmail.com. Details can also be found here.
