The University of Oxford programme for Economic and Social History and Nuffield College, Oxford, are inviting applications for the 2018–2019 round of the Graduate Seminar in Economic and Social History. The seminar series provides a forum for graduate students to receive helpful advice and feedback on their research projects in progress. We welcome qualitative and quantitative works alike on any aspect of economic and social history and encourage students from all disciplines related to economic and social history to apply.

The Graduate Seminar in Economic and Social History is well attended by faculty and graduate students from History, Economic History, and related disciplines. We are committed to hosting diverse contributions in an inclusive environment. Each session consists of a 30 minute presentation by the guest speaker followed by 30 minutes of discussion and questions from the audience.

The workshop meets on Wednesdays (1 PM) during term (see below), at Nuffield College, Oxford. Coffee and sandwiches will be provided.
