The Social History Society is pleased to hear that the Official Receiver has agreed to present the Thomas Cook Archive to a professional archive repository. Their decision was influenced by the Business Archives Council, which has worked swiftly to ensure the future of this unique collection of letters, brochures, posters, passenger lists and guide books.

The Social History Society submitted an official letter in support of this move and awaits further news with interest.
