The Social History Society administers two regular funding schemes.

• Our Small Grants provide up to £1000 to support direct research costs or the costs of events and activities run by members of the Society.
• We set up and administer the Joint BME Small Grants scheme, which provides up to £1000 to support activities and events run by BME historians or on subjects relating to Black and Minority Ethnic histories.

We also work with sponsors to provide Postgraduate Bursaries and Prizes at our annual conference.
