Following this year’s committee elections, we are pleased to announce the members of the Society’s Committee for the coming year.

We are delighted to welcome both new and returning members to the Committee:

• Janet Weston – re-elected as Treasurer
• Kathleen McIlvenna – elected as Honorary Secretary
• Jaina Hunt – elected as Postgraduate Representative
• Lou Bell – elected as Ordinary Member
• Peter Edwards – elected as Ordinary Member for a second term
• Claire Markham – elected as Ordinary Member

Congratulations to all those elected, and we look forward to working with the new Committee over the coming year.

The Committee plays a hugely important role in supporting the work of the Society, and we would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who have served over the past year. In particular, we would like to thank Barbara Crosbie, who decided not to stand for re-election, and June Purvis, who has reached the end of her second term on the Committee.

We also note that Henry Irving is stepping down as Honorary Secretary. Henry will remain as Acting Chair for as long as necessary and will continue to serve as a co-opted ordinary member to help ensure a smooth transition.
