Hard Copies of our Journal

The Social History Society has entered a new contract with Taylor & Francis, the publishers of Cultural and Social History.

In line with this contract, we are now offering online access to our journal as default. Registered members can access issues by using the Routledge e-journals link from the membership pages of our website. You will be prompted to login.

We understand that some full and concessionary members will prefer to retain hard copies of our journal. We are happy to offer this at no extra cost. To opt in to receiving a hard copy, members should update their preferences using the Printed Journal Option link on the membership pages of our website. Again, you will be prompted to login.

The move to digital access by default will allow us to avoid wasting paper and to keep costs low.

We have received many queries about the hard copies of our journal in recent years. Some members have asked to cancel their subscription because they prefer to access the journal online. Others have told us how much they like receiving a physical copy. We hope that our new contract will provide the best of both worlds.

If you want to keep a hardcopy, please act quickly to ensure you receive Volume 21 Issue 2.
